Defensive driving RoSPA
Course overview:
Level 2 Award in Defensive Driving is accredited by RoSPA Qualifications (UK). Level 2 Award in Defensive Driving will enable participants to recognise factors that may impact human capability to drive a vehicle safely. Upon completion the course will equip every participant with knowledge with techniques to mitigate risks and helps develop a positive attitude to driving. RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Defensive Driving course is intended for those who seeks to improve driving skills and reduce road traffic accident risks. The course overview includes theory and practical exercises serving to develop concentration, response, and professionalism of the participants in different road situations.
Purpose of the course: The purpose of obtaining this qualification is to make course participants aware of the causes of occupational road traffic accidents, as well as equip them with skills and knowledge useful to reduce potential for involvement into a road traffic accident.
This qualification is intended for anyone who needs to drive in order to do their job, and it can be arranged in the UK or other countries. In addition, such qualification could provide for the compliance with the driver training standards required by the oil and gas industry.

Target audience of the course
The course is intended for drivers of every level of competence - from beginners to experienced drivers, who wish to reduce risks of road traffic accident and improve their driving skills.
Training outcome
The training outcome will result in the improved road safety, reduced road accident risks, improved driving skills and driving confidence. The course can assist drivers in obtaining RoSPA diploma, which can reduce insurance cost. Upon successful examination participants will receive RoSPA certificate of completion.
